You Don’t Always Need to Call a Tech

You don’t always need a tech Part 2

You have now arrived at part two of a series covering common problems that you can easily fix without calling in a technician. Fixing a problem yourself will save you time, hassle, and may occasionally make you look like the office hero. So what do you do if your copier is printing too light?

This can normally be solved by going to the device’s embedded web page. An embedded web page is just a page that you can access for any of your devices that are on a network. The way that you access it is to put the problem device’s IP address into your web browser’s address line. An IP address is kind of like an identifier for each copier, printer, computer etc. and it looks something like this 192.168.2.35.
